OVERVIEW:
If you like to go on big adventures, this is the safari package for you. You’ll visit five national parks (Nairobi National Park, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire), one national game reserve (Masai Mara), and two countries (Kenya and Tanzania), seeing hundreds of species of wildlife along the way. These ten days are packed full of excitement to provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation in Nairobi, you will drive straight to Nairobi National Park. A short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. You will have packed lunch boxes and after further game viewing experience, you will drive back to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation in Nairobi, you will drive straight to Masai Mara National Reserve which takes approximately 5 hours. You will be stopping along the way to take in the stunning view of the Great Rift Valley. Later, you'll arrive at the park in time for lunch at your lodge before enjoying an afternoon game drive through the iconic park. The Masai Mara National Reserve is home to the entirety of the Big Five and also plays host to the Wildebeest Migration each year. This makes for a stunning backdrop for your first day of safari.

You will wake up before dawn for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Masai Mara sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee, you'll head out into the park to watch as the sun sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage of the morning cool to search for a meal.
Alternatively, you can take to the skies with a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before setting down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife. Ask your safari expert about adding a hot air balloon adventure to your safari.
You'll then return to your lodge for a late breakfast before packing a picnic lunch and heading back out into the park for a day-long exploration of the Masai Mara. You may also opt to relax at your lodge in the morning, enjoy lunch on-site, and then head out again in the afternoon once the weather has cooled off a bit.

Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, you will drive straight to After breakfast, you will drive to Isebania, Tanzania/Kenya border to get your visa. Then, you will go to Serengeti National Park.
Lunch will be served en-route towards the heart of Serengeti with an incredible set up by your guide inside the bush. The Serengeti National Park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife than anywhere else on the planet. You will have an unlimited drive until in the evening where you will drive straight to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am or according to your preference, you will continue exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park for a full day game drive. The park offers a multitude of wildlife including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Hot lunch will be served inside the park at around 12:30pm with some soft drinks and unlimited drinking water.
You will have an unlimited drive until in the evening where you will drive straight to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today you will depart early after your delicious breakfast to Ngorongoro crater with a game drive en- route. While descending the crater, you will pass by one of the Maasai Villages and learn more about the cultural ways of the Maasai people. You can also participate on their dances and witness the fire making process. After that you will proceed with your game drive inside the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide range of birds’ species, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. Hot Lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool and after that you will continue to explore the crater.
After exploration you will ascend the crater and drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park which is also known as the home of Tree Climbing Lions and birds’ paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, Buffalo, Hippo, elephants and wildebeests. Lunch will be served inside the park and after further exploration of the park you will drive to your accommodation near Tarangire for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation at around 0730hrs or according to your preferred time, you will drive straight to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 40 minutes. The word Tarangire means the river of warthogs. Tara means river and ngire means warthog, therefore its meaning is the river of warthogs. Tarangire National Park is famous for the largest African elephants as well as the huge baobab trees and the mini-wildlife migration with more than 250,000 animals. It is one of the largest parks with an area of more than 2600 square kilometers. The park is home to over 500 species of birds, including some species which are endemic to Tanzania.
You will also get a unique opportunity to see different animal species such as large numbers of impalas, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelle and gerenuk. Other animals that you will encounter are such as the wildebeests and zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetah that seem to be popular within the southern open areas. You will be served with hot picnic lunch in the afternoon at around 1230hrs. After that you will explore the park’s beauty especially during the dry season between June to October where the only source of water at this place is the Tarangire river which attracts many animals such as wildebeests, elephants, gazelles, zebras and hartebeest, buffaloes plus various predators like lions that come to drink.
In the evening, you will drive straight to Arusha or at the airport to catch your flight back to Nairobi or to your next destination.
