6 DAYS DRIVE & FLY-OUT MIDRANGE SAFARI
On this 6 day drive & fly-out midrange safari, you will visit the famous parks on the northern circuit of Tanzania which are Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park. After your safari, you will fly to Zanzibar.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, a representative from Wild Candle African Safaris will meet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha for your overnight stay as you await the start of your safari journey.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast (around 8:00 am), you will receive a short safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. Known for its vast savannahs, iconic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps, the park also hosts northern Tanzania’s largest elephant population. Sightings may include giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous antelope species.
Hot lunch will be served at a picnic site around 12:30 pm, followed by continued game viewing. In the evening, proceed to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a brief stop at the crater viewpoint. You will then descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in East Africa to spot the Big Five.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals and offers remarkable scenery and encounters with Maasai culture.
Enjoy hot lunch at the hippo pool picnic site, then drive onward with an en-route game drive to the Serengeti, arriving at your tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4–5: Full Days in Serengeti National Park
Spend two full days exploring the iconic Serengeti. Known for its expansive plains and rich biodiversity, the park is home to the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—as well as seasonal wildebeest migrations.
Enjoy hot lunches served in the bush with soft drinks and unlimited drinking water. Evening returns to your tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar
After breakfast, your driver will take you to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar Airport—concluding your unforgettable safari experience.
