5 DAYS DRIVE & FLY-OUT LUXURY SAFARI

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Wild Candle African Safaris. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha where you can relax and prepare for the exciting adventure that begins the following day.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at around 8:00 AM, enjoy a short safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic baobab trees, seasonal marshes, and the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania, Tarangire offers spectacular game viewing. Expect to encounter giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope and gazelle species.

A hot lunch will be served around 12:30 PM at a scenic picnic site within the park. After further exploration, drive to the Karatu area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at around 8:00 AM, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop briefly at a crater viewpoint before descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in East Africa to see the Big Five. The crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including the endangered black rhino and a wide variety of birds.

Enjoy a hot picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Afterward, continue your journey to the heart of the Serengeti National Park, with en-route game viewing. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast (timing flexible based on your preference), set out for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti’s legendary plains. This iconic park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including all members of the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.

A hot lunch will be served around 12:30 PM at a designated picnic area, accompanied by soft drinks and unlimited bottled water. Continue your unlimited safari adventure until evening, then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the Serengeti airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar. This marks the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari experience.
