Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, a representative from Wild Candle African Safaris will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a restful overnight stay as you prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast (around 8:00 am), enjoy a short safari briefing before departing to Tarangire National Park. Known for its striking baobab trees and savannah landscapes, the park is home to the highest concentration of elephants in northern Tanzania. Wildlife sightings may include lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and various antelope species.
Hot lunch will be served at a scenic picnic site around 12:30 pm. The game drive continues into the afternoon before heading to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a brief stop at the crater viewpoint. You’ll then descend 600 meters into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. The caldera hosts a stunning array of wildlife including the Big Five, hyenas, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a hot picnic lunch at the hippo pool before continuing your journey to Serengeti National Park. The en-route game drive will offer wildlife encounters before arriving at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 & 5: Full Days in Serengeti National Park

Spend two full days exploring the expansive Serengeti plains. Renowned for the Great Migration and diverse wildlife, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and more.
Lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the park with refreshing soft drinks and unlimited bottled water. Evening returns to your luxurious tented lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
